Administrative Assistant

My name is Kendrick Wade, and I am thrilled to be a part of the STEAM TEAM as an Administrative Assistant.  I earned my B.S. in Health, Physical Education & Recreation from Mississippi Valley State University. I was also a three year starter for the mighty MVSU football team, followed by four years of playing professional indoor football (Arena Football).

In 2009 I began my teaching career with MCS at Georgia Avenue Elementary as the Physical Education  teacher.  The following year I took my talents to Fairview Middle School where I taught health & physical education for two years, followed by two years of serving as an Administrative Assistant/ISS.  During my four years at FMS,  I was also the head football and track coach.  Currently,  I am the head football coach for the Middle College High School Bulldogs!

My life is dedicated to serving others, especially our youth.  I believe that it is our responsibility to reach every child and to create an environment for students to be successful and realize their full potential. So teaching, leading, motivating, and supporting our students is not a job for me, I say it’s my “Calling”.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. put it best when he said “Life’s most urgent question is: What are you doing for others?”
